Last Thursday members of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce made clear that they wanted more regulation on Artificial Intelligence technologies, citing national security risks as a concern. This is in stark contrast to the CoC’s usual regulatory minimalist position.
The concerns come from across the pond as well, as the EU works on an AI Act to wrangle hold of the disruptive technology and the UK’s spy agency GCHQ is warning corporations of the potential risk of imputing sensitive data in these AI prompt boxes.
