A bug on Twitter further hurts trust of the platform as private tweets shared with a select group were found to be populating the ‘For You’ timelines of unintended viewers, even if those viewers didn’t follow the poster.
Tweets sent to Circles were liked by people not part of those groups, tipping off the posters to the bug. No official response to the bug from the social media platform has been released yet.
