The UK based global media outlet sites “privacy and security fears” as the reason to become the latest organization to ban the social media app from its corporate phones.
Although they plan to continue to post content to the platform, presumably from specific devices, a BBC spokesperson said they take the security of their systems, data and staff “incredibly seriously”.
