Kaspersky Labs reported that fake ChatGPT Windows clients are infecting anyone who downloads them, as no official ChatGPT client exists. The AI service is web based.
The malware is being spread via Facebook, TikTok and Google, sometimes with the promise of granting premium accounts to those that use it, instead of the free-tier accounts which have been reportedly been “at capacity”.
